Circa coming to Her Majesty's Theatre
Currently touring regional Australia, Circa will soon bring its sexy and explosive show Wunderkammer to Her Majesty’s Theatre at Adelaide Festival Centre, SA. Wunderkammer, which showcases a funny and fiery new vision of contemporary circus, will undoubtedly enthrall audiences with its spectacular physical feats on October 1-4.

Weave concludes inclusive intensive
In partnership with Arts Access Australia, Dancehouse and the Australia Council, Weave Movement Theatre is currently hosting a professional dance development training series for experienced artists who have a disability. The Inclusive Dance Intensive has met every Sunday for the last month at Dancehouse, Carlton. The intensive will culminate this weekend (September 19–21) in a three-day workshop with Caroline Bowditch.
Bangarra embarks on its largest regional tour
This month, Bangarra Dance Theatre will head out on its largest regional tour yet. As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, Bangarra will visit regional areas of Australia and will spend time on country with Indigenous communities from September until November – performing in theatres, arts centres, on basketball courts and at beach ampitheatres. The tour follows the company’s highly-acclaimed national tour of Patyegarang that was attended by over 36,500 patrons across Australia.
Blink Dance Theatre's ‘Written on the Body’
Blink Dance Theatre, an independent dance theatre company based in Victoria, has announced its latest work, Written on the Body. Inspired by the life of iconic writer Anais Nin, this visceral new dance theatre work will explore the notion of female identity and the power of literature to both shape and be shaped by our lives. With creative stagecraft, innovative video projection and beautiful physicality, Written on the Body is an immersive celebration. It will be presented September 19, 20 and 25-27 at Shenton Theatre in East Geelong.
Dance Massive seeks EOIs from artists
Dance Massive will open its 2015 performance season in less than six months. By November, 10 choreographers will be chosen to participate in Dance Massive Open Studios, the open rehearsal/showings program that provides artists and choreographers the opportunity to create and to present work. Interested artists are now encouraged to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for consideration.
