Disneyland Paris auditions launch August 27

Dance Auditions Australia 2017Disneyland Paris is looking to cast “enthusiastic and highly energetic” performers with “a good basic dance level” who resemble classic Disney characters. Auditions will be held in Melbourne and Sydney in late August.

 

If chosen, performers will take part in a unique experience by joining other Disney characters and the parade department for the resort’s 25th anniversary celebrations. They’ll be a part of the Disneyland Paris magic and experience French culture.

 

Casting officials welcome candidates of all heights but they must be a minimum of 18 years old and must be fine with wearing various costumes. Contract start dates will be February or May 2018 ending September 2018 or January 2019. Open-ended lifetime contracts are a possibility as well.

 

Melbourne auditions are set for Sunday, August 27 at 10 a.m. Candidates should report to Dance World Studios, located at 295 Bank St., South Melbourne.

 

Sydney auditions are set for Thursday, August 31 at 10 a.m. Candidates should report to Brent Street in The Entertainment Quarter, located at 122 Lang Road, Moore Park.

 

Those auditioning should bring their headshot and resume. They should wear comfortable clothing, as they’ll be asked to participate in a movement/dance combination. Officials request that candidates refrain from wearing makeup at the audition.
