Dream Dance Co. announces 2016 Cast

Following auditions held last month in Sydney, The Dream Dance Company’s Founder Marko Panzic has announced the troupe’s 2016 cast, which includes seven returning dancers and nine new dancers.

Returning for the second season are dancers Lauren Seymour, Cat Santos, Shivawn Joubert, Dayton Tavares, Teagan Seaborn, Rob McLean and David McLean. 

The new cast members include Katie Sanchez, Charles Bartley, Anti Fischer, Stephen Perez, Sophia Laryea, Lauren Elton, Jordan Hill, Callum Mooney and Brandon Atoui.

Panzic said, “We are so excited for this new and exciting cast!” 

The Dream Dance Company announced in December that American dancemaker Candace Brown will serve as the choreographer for the company’s 2016 season. Brown, an internationally renowned choreographer and mentor admired by dancers worldwide, came to Australia for the recent auditions.

She’ll return in June/July for five weeks to work with the company. At that time she’ll also act as a guest mentor for Panzic’s pre-professional program SHOW|BUSINESS.
