Introducing Sydney College of Dance

The vision of the Sydney College of Dance (SCD) is to help the next generation of dancers have fulfilling, long lasting careers as professional artists in national and international ballet and contemporary companies. SCD invites aspiring professional dancers to apply for 2018 entry to its full time program.

SCD’s training program promises to increase a dancer’s chance of having a successful future in the professional dance world. Artistic directors and choreographers are looking for dancers who are professional, and are immediately ready to work in a collaborative way.

Companies want dancers who can absorb the style and language of the choreographer and embody their movements and be one step ahead of the other applicants. SCD believes there is so much more to career preparation than just perfecting steps.
